Loving A Special Child

President's Note:

We apologize our website is under construction after being hacked.  Please be patient with us but check out our workshop or happenings page!

Each day I am asked, "Carla how can you stay so upbeat?"  My reply makes the look twice at me - I say "I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and ours is blue!"  I then have to explain that the song is called "I believe" that motivates me.  What I've had to learn over time is that my light and that for my children doesn't have to match everyone elses and we just happen to like blue! So we each day keep pushing for the light - we keep believing - we keep on moving and checking and in the end I will know I've done all I can for my child and that through awareness, cooperation and teamwork, we can make our kids lives better!

So what color is your light at the end of your tunnel?
